County Food Ingredients (CFI)
donates PPE to NHS in
Widnes/Warrington area.

Joy Knight, Managing Director of UK Food Cert contacted CFI last week, looking for donations of PPE to local Hospitals.

Joy (bless her!) had initiated and was coordinating this great effort across UKFC’s client base.
The team at CFI looked at PPE stocks and identified Aprons, Overshoes and Coveralls from a now redundant activity, which could help.
Gareth Cross (Technical Manager, pictured below) pulled it all together to provide a car boot full for Joy.
Duly delivered, Joy had a wonderful message back from Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Trust

Can I please on behalf of the whole Respiratory Team, thank you so very much for this fabulous equipment,
allowing to visit patients at home feeling safer for them and us too.
It really is so humbling to know that so many are behind us in what we are doing, which is just our jobs.
It makes my heart sing to know there is so much support, both in equipment and love for NHS Staff.
